Role Description The Medical Content Strategist is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, NY. This role involves designing and executing content strategies for medical books, journals, videos, and digital platforms to align with the needs of healthcare professionals and learners. Daily responsibilities include researching medical topics and trends, collaborating with authors and key opinion leaders, planning content roadmaps, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and educational value across all materials. The Medical Content Strategist will work closely with editorial, marketing, and production teams to optimize content for print and digital channels, support conference-related publishing initiatives, and maintain adherence to ethical and scientific standards. The role also includes reviewing existing content portfolios, identifying gaps and opportunities, and contributing to the development of new products in multiple health science disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Strong medical and scientific knowledge, with the ability to interpret and synthesize clinical research and guidelines into clear, structured educational content.
  • Experience in content strategy and planning, including developing content calendars, mapping learner journeys, and aligning publishing outputs with organizational goals.
  • Advanced writing and editing skills, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and consistency for medical and academic audiences.
  • Familiarity with medical publishing processes, peer review workflows, and ethical standards in scientific communication.
  • Proficiency in digital content platforms and tools, such as content management systems, online journal portals, and basic analytics for assessing content performance.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with authors, reviewers, internal teams, and external partners across disciplines and regions.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as medicine, life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, public health, biomedical sciences, or medical communication; advanced degrees are an advantage.
