Main Responsibilities
- Coding Volume: Code a minimum of 65 letters/day (post-probation).
- Data Accuracy: Identify and flag incomplete or unclear clinical data.
- Document Management: File documents accurately using EMIS, SystmOne, or Docman.
- Target Awareness: Apply coding with awareness of QOF and PCN DES targets.
- Clinical Escalation: Escalate documents appropriately for clinical review.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to audits and quality reviews.
- Compliance: Strictly maintain GDPR compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Team Collaboration: Attend team meetings, training sessions, and SEAs. Communicate effectively and support colleagues as needed.
Training & Probation Path

- Initial Training: 1-month training on clinical systems (EMIS, SystmOne, Docman), coding protocols, and quality standards.
- Junior Coder Probation (3 Months):
- Process a minimum of 50 letters/day.
- Receive regular KPI monitoring, feedback, and mentoring.
- Promotion to full Coder role upon satisfactory performance!
✅ Requirements
- Understanding of medical terminology and coding standards (Don’t worry, training is provided!).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet performance targets both independently and as part of a team.
- Bonus: Familiarity with NHS systems is a strong advantage.
Salary, Allowances & Benefits
- Training Salary: PKR 30,000
- Starting Basic Salary: PKR 50,000
- Qualification Allowance: Up to PKR 20,000/- (Specifically for MBBS Doctors, Ph.D. Doctors, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, and BDS Doctors).
- Transport Allowance: PKR 10,000/- (Post-probation).
- Post-Probation Salary: Adjusted based on performance and management review.
