Position: Marine Life Animal Care Attendant
Become a Marine Life Animal Care Attendant at our facility in Edmonton, Alberta. This part-time role involves animal husbandry, show support, and maintaining live exhibits.
In this entry-level position, you will assist our Marine Life staff during presentations and shows. Responsibilities include cleaning exhibits, ensuring animal well-being, and providing exceptional customer service during public interactions. Additionally, expect to support various husbandry tasks and maintain high standards for living environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with animal care and habitat maintenance
• Prepare Grandstand and Sets for performances
• Provide customer service during shows
• Maintain the cleanliness of exhibits and tanks
• Feed and prepare diets for Marine Life animals
Requirements:
• Interest in marine biology and aquatic animal care
• Experience with reptiles and fish is advantageous
• Public speaking skills are a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
