Job Purpose :To establish and lead the internal audit function for a chartered institute, ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and proper utilization of funds.
Key Responsibilities
•Set up the Internal Audit department, prepare policies, and annual audit plan.
•Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits of all programs and funds.
•Ensure compliance with the Institute's charter and government regulations.
•Review internal controls, safeguard assets, and investigate fraud or irregularities, if any.
•Report audit findings to the Board/Audit Committee and track implementation of corrective actions.
•Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
•Ensure compliance with HEC policies, rules, and guidelines.
•Audit the utilization and disbursement of funds.
•Review student admission and selection processes to ensure merit-based, transparent, and equitable access in line with the Institute's charitable mission.
•Any other task as assigned by the management.
Requirements
•Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAP.
•1-3 years of Internal audit experience (post-articles).
•Strong knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, and internal control frameworks.
•Experience in education sector will be preferred.
