Position Overview
We are seeking two highly motivated and commercially driven Managers – Business Development & Sales to accelerate InsureCow's growth by expanding our customer base, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue across our portfolio of products and services.
This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy consultative selling, building long-term business relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the complete business development lifecycle—from lead generation and customer engagement to proposal development, contract negotiation, and account management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across commercial, corporate, institutional, and government sectors.
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with insurance companies, banks, financial institutions, commercial farms, dairy farms, agribusinesses, NGOs, development partners, and government agencies.
- Generate a healthy pipeline of qualified business opportunities.
- Prepare business proposals, commercial offers, presentations, and partnership agreements.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Represent InsureCow at business meetings, conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.
Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive Sales Across InsureCow's Product Portfolio, Including
- Livestock Insurance Solutions
- Farm Management Software (FMS)
- Livestock Identification Services
- Agricultural Financing Solutions
- Veterinary Services
- Enterprise & Institutional Solutions
Key Responsibilities Include
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
- Conduct product demonstrations and solution presentations.
- Understand customer requirements and develop customized commercial solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial agreements.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Expand the company's presence across existing and new market segments.
Key Account Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic customers and partners.
- Develop account growth strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Ensure excellent customer experience and post-sales engagement.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer onboarding.
- Support contract renewals and long-term business retention.
Market Development
- Conduct market research and identify emerging business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments.
- Recommend new markets, customer segments, and product opportunities.
- Support market expansion initiatives and go-to-market strategies.
Sales Planning & Reporting
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using CRM systems.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports.
- Develop revenue forecasts and sales projections.
- Track performance against business development KPIs.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Technology, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide customer insights to support product development and service improvements.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives that support business growth and market expansion.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Institutional Sales, Key Account Management, or B2B Sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience working in a startup, scale-up, or high-growth company is highly preferred.
- Experience managing the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
- Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, AgriTech, InsurTech, FinTech, insurance products, financial services, or other technology-enabled solutions will be a strong advantage.
- Experience working with commercial farms, agribusinesses, insurance companies, banks, financial institutions, NGOs, or government organizations is preferred.
- Experience preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, and negotiating commercial agreements is an advantage.

Requirements
- Experience: 5 to 10 years
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline., MBA or Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
- Skills: Business Development, Sales & Commercial, Communication & Leadership, Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar) is preferred, Strong analytical and reporting skills, Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills., Strong written and verbal communication in English and Bangla., Ability to engage senior executives and decision-makers., Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills., Strong business development and market expansion capabilities., Experience in B2B and institutional sales., Excellent relationship-building and networking skills., Proposal writing and contract negotiation., Strategic account management., Consultative and solution-based selling., Sales pipeline and opportunity management., Revenue forecasting and target achievement. , Customer acquisition and retention., Cross-selling and upselling.
