About the Role
This role will be responsible for developing and validating the methods used in the analysis of materials & products, ensuring that these methods are accurate, reliable, and consistently producing the same results.
Responsibilities
- Conduction Literature search on the molecule with respect to compendial methods, monographs and information available in DMF.
- Developing and validating analytical methods for drug substance and drug product testing.
- Preparing validation protocols and reports in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Performing routine analytical testing and troubleshooting of analytical methods.
- Thoroughly understands the structural chemistry of molecules and deep dives in the probable degradation mechanisms and share the feedback.
- Support in Technical troubleshooting/ root cause identification/ Investigation/Corrective Action and Preventive Action pertaining to product development or manufacturing activities.
- Evaluating new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support product development and manufacturing.
- Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results by maintaining and calibrating analytical instruments.
- Documenting all experiment details, observations, and findings in laboratory notebooks.
- Interpreting analytical data and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines and industry trends.
- Implementing and maintaining good laboratory practices and safety standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience Required: Around 10 Years in Pharmaceutical Industry (method development, and method validation).
- Qualification: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, or related field / M.Pharm
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GLP, GCP, and regulatory guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with GC, HPLC, and sample preparation techniques.
- Proficiency in data documentation and report preparation.
