Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Management trainee – Veterinary Diagnostics, who will assist in launch of an exciting range of diagnostic products for companion animals. The candidate shall play a dual role – managing on-ground sales activities while also being groomed for managerial responsibilities at the Head Office. The ideal candidate will have field experience in veterinary sales (companion animals) and a passion for animal health. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of veterinary diagnostic products – from ideation, development, field validation, to market launch and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with veterinarians, livestock owners, veterinary colleges, diagnostic labs, and distributors
Conduct product demos and training sessions for veterinary professionals and field teams
Collect customer feedback and insights to guide product positioning and strategy
Meet and exceed sales targets through lead generation, follow-ups, and conversion
Participate in veterinary exhibitions, seminars, and industry events
Collaborate with the Product Development and Business Development teams on product ideation, packaging design, field validation, and market feasibility
Participate in strategic planning, marketing content creation, and product positioning
Assist in building launch strategies, pricing models, and distribution plans
Get trained on key Head Office functions including supply chain coordination, regulatory compliance, documentation, and inter-departmental communication
Support development of MIS reports, market analytics, and customer feedback documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.) or Animal Science, Life Sciences, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of field experience in veterinary sales
Familiarity with veterinary diagnostics or animal health products is preferred
Strong communication, planning, and negotiation skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership
Comfortable with extensive travel and ready to grow into a multi-functional role
