Job Summary:
The Golf Course Maintenance position involves a range of activities related to golf course maintenance and construction. Responsibilities include semi-skilled ground construction and maintenance work, along with related tasks as required.
Day-to-Day:
Operate powered equipment for mowing golf courses, including greens, aprons, tees, and rough.
Use edgers and trimmers.
Grade and prepare soil beds, lay sod, plant vegetative materials, and weed control.
Change cups and tee markers.
Maintain ball washers, water hazards, and bunkers.
Operate light equipment for hauling materials and debris removal.
Trim trees, prune shrubs, and cultivate flowers and shrubs.
Assist in constructing new greens, tees, and fairways through grading, soil preparation, and planting.
About You:
At least 1 year of experience in landscaping maintenance.
Ability to understand and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Bilingual (English-Spanish) communication skills preferred.
Local candidates only; this position does not offer relocation assistance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
