As a Veterinary Assistant with MVVC, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional patient care with at least 2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience.
- Utilizing Fear Free handling and restraint techniques
- Preparing patients for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, assisting with recovery, and sterilizing instruments.
- Performing venipuncture and collecting, preparing, and processing a variety of diagnostic samples.
- Capturing high-quality digital radiographs.
- Administering medications orally, intravenously, and subcutaneously as directed.
- Maintaining compliance with all DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety standards.
- Accurately documenting patient records using practice software and Microsoft Suite.
- Communicating professionally with clients while building strong, trusting relationships.
- Demonstrating excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Safely lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted and remaining seated or standing for extended periods as needed.
