Are you a caring and skilled LVT who’s passionate about making a difference in the lives of pets and their people? Magruder-Tabb Animal Clinic is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Our clinic has proudly served the Yorktown community since 1989 and is located in a brand-new, state‑of‑the‑art 9,000 sq. ft. facility.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with our veterinarians to provide top‑quality patient care
- Perform procedures such as venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis, and radiography
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
- Educate and support clients on pet care, nutrition, and medications
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using veterinary software
Help keep our hospital organized, stocked, and running smoothly
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and positive work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (Virginia); 1+ years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates encouraged)
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communicator with a passion for client service
- A true team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
