Company Description CORI – Human Capital Solutions Private Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well established national retail brand.
Role Description The Loss Control and Security Process Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Kwekwe. The role involves leading the the security team, acting as the custodian of asset protection, shrinkage prevention, health and safety compliance and providing a secure shopping environment across the store. Driving a culture of compliance and accountability throughout the operation.
Duties
- Secure and maintain all entrances, exits, perimeter access points and security systems (CCTV, alarms, EAS, radios).
- Lead shrinkage prevention initiatives, including the Shrinkage Committee, awareness programmes and evidence-based investigations into theft and fraud.
- Manage and deploy security service providers, enforce SLAs and conduct monthly performance meetings.
- Ensure full compliance with the NSSA Act, Factory & Works Act and all applicable Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe, secure, clean and hygienic shopping environment for customers and staff.
- Conduct and facilitate investigations; compile case dockets, gather evidence and support disciplinary processes.
- Drive team performance through coaching, one-on-one sessions, cross-skilling and succession planning.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to all company policies, procedures and Loss Control & Security SOPs.
- Maintain all statutory compliance documentation, including occupancy, fire, electrical and structural certificates.
Qualifications
- Minimum O-Level Certificate. Diploma in Security Management / Loss Control / Occupational Health & Safety is an advantage.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong investigative and analytical skills.
- Strong planning, organising, and leadership capability.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CCTV and security management systems.
- Experience with CCTV systems and Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS).
- Integrity and high ethical standards.
- Ability to identify and mitigate security risks effectively.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in loss control, security management, or retail operations.
- Working knowledge of NSSA Act, Factory & Works Act and retail shrinkage practices.
