Durango Animal Hospital is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our awesome team!
We are a busy, 5 doctor practice specializing in small animals as well as some exotics. We are currently open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The position requires computer skills, communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Potential candidates will have a genuine love and passion for animals, a stellar work ethic, be extremely motivated, a team player, and thrive in a fast paced environment. Must also feel comfortable: Giving injections, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, taking radiographs, performing in house lab work, preparing samples for outside labs, administering oral medications, restraining animals, meeting the nursing needs of hospitalized patients, talking to and educating clients, and performing various, but relatively light housekeeping duties for hospital maintenance. Applicant must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holiday hours as needed.

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
