We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our veterinary practice, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to animals and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional services. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
- Monitoring emergency anesthesia for all ASA classifications.
- Triage of emergency patients.
- Intensive care nursing
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
- Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any changes to the veterinarian.
- Provide nursing care for hospitalized animals.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Educate pet owners.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Assist with kennel duties, including cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas.
Skills

- Strong knowledge of emergency veterinary medicine and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
