Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with clinical procedures, including animal restraint, catheterization, and laboratory testing to ensure accurate diagnostics and treatment.
- Perform dental cleanings and understand dental terminology to support oral health procedures.
- Monitor for anesthetic procedures and recover patients from surgery.
- Handle animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and monitoring pet behavior to promote comfort and safety.
- Conduct radiography (X-ray) procedures with proper technique and animal positioning to assist in diagnostics.
- Manage laboratory samples, perform tests, and interpret results related to animal physiology and health status.
- Provide pet care advice, educate pet owners on animal handling, grooming, and basic health maintenance.
- Maintain detailed medical records, ensure proper animal restraint during examinations, and uphold safety protocols in all procedures.
Experience
- Previous hands-on animal handling skills are highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential.
- Experience with veterinary critical care situations enhances your ability to respond effectively in urgent scenarios.

Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
