About the Role:
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Docs Veterinary Hospital, you’ll play a key role in supporting diagnostics and treatment under the supervision of our veterinarians. You’ll use your core skills in animal handling, veterinary terminology, and physiology to help provide thoughtful, progressive care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care through patient exams, administering medications, and assisting with treatments
Perform dental cleanings and take diagnostic-quality dental radiographs
Assist with catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and patient restraint
Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and treatment logs
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about patient care and treatment plans
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment, including exam rooms and kennels
Utilize veterinary software and computer systems for charting and recordkeeping
What We’re Looking For:
Active Nevada LVT license (Required)
Experience with dental procedures and radiology is essential
Prior work in a small animal hospital setting
Strong communication skills and computer literacy
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Personable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check
