We are a well-established companion animal practice that is focused on comprehensive whole life care, first exam through senior visits. At VCA Redwood, this shows with our partnership with our clients and our continual work to expand our services and knowledge to better meet the needs of each life stage of our patients. We currently offer ultrasound and endoscopy services, partner with local specialists to provide advanced ultrasound, cardiac, and surgical services on site, and are AAHA accredited. Many of our staff are also Fear Free and AAFP certified.

As a member of the VCA Redwood team, you will help provide support to our doctors and clients. In order to fulfill this, Licensed Veterinary Technicians must be able to provide the following skills:
- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Dentistry
- Radiology
- Laboratory work
- Venipuncture
- Catheter placement
- Proper patient restraint
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Client education
- Compassionate care of our patients
Our hospital is open Mon-Sat and is closed Sundays and all major holidays. The right candidate is looking for full -times hours and is available to rotate working Saturdays. We work hard to try to meet our staff where they are at with their schedules and do our best to accommodate both 5-8’s and 4-10’s scheduling. Compensation range is $30-$35/hr depending on experience.
