Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned practice looking for a Head Nurse to join their large and supportive team.
Working Hours / Rota
40 hours per week over five days
.
1:8 full weekends
.
Role Description
The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the nursing team, deliver exceptional client and patient care, lead and promote nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures, manage patient admissions and discharges, ensure professional excellence, and support clinical best practice within the practice and across the wider community.
Team Size
The team consists of 10 Vets, 12 Nurses, 1 Patient Care Assistant, and 5 Receptionists.
Practice Details
The practice features six consult rooms, three sterile theatres, separate dog and cat wards, dedicated diagnostic suites, dental facilities, digital x-ray, two staff rooms, and a full range of modern veterinary equipment, all supporting a high standard of care.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with experience delivering exceptional patient and client care, strong leadership skills, a progressive clinical approach, and a passion for coaching and team development.
