Description
Our hospital is seeking a full-time Lead Veterinary Assistant to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.
The Lead Veterinary Assistant is responsible for assisting Veterinarians in animal care and supporting the Practice Manager in operational management. Responsibilities include restraining animals during examinations, stocking supplies, sterilizing tools, and ensuring equipment functionality. Technical skills required include venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia administration and monitoring, dental prophylaxis, radiography, medication administration, laboratory analysis, and client education. The role also involves communicating with clients and updating patient files.

Prior veterinary experience required
