In partnership with our leadership team, you’ll help lead our progressive, feline-exclusive hospital in Vancouver, WA. Privately owned since 1977, we’ve built our reputation on exceptional feline medicine, compassionate care, and an outstanding client experience—and we’re looking for a leader who shares those values.“This clinic is AMAZING… Very knowledgeable, honest, and caring staff.” Google reviewAs our Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), you’ll serve as both a skilled technician and a trusted leader for the clinical team. You’ll help coordinate daily workflow, mentor and develop team members, maintain high medical and nursing standards, and work closely with our veterinarians to ensure exceptional patient care and client service. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced LVT who enjoys coaching others, leading by example, and helping create a positive, collaborative hospital culture while still remaining hands-on in patient care.Required Qualifications & ExperienceCredentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT)Three or more years of progressive veterinary technical experience preferred.Fear Free handling skills and/or certification preferredExtensive experience leading and developing veterinary teams with a positive and collaborative management styleStrong communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Clinical & Technical SkillsKnowledge of IV catheter placement, anesthesia, dentistry, surgery, nursing care, and inventory managementWorking knowledge of DEA and OSHA regulations, and ability to maintain accurate protocolsExperience with IDEXX, Antech, and Heska laboratoriesManagement ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support veterinary technicians and assistantsOversee daily hospital operations and appointment flowPartner with veterinarians and staff to ensure exceptional medicine and patient careAssist with employee training/coaching, OSHA compliance, scheduling, performance management, and accountabilityCommitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality client service and educationAdditional QualificationsProficiency with Shepherd PIMS and Microsoft Suite for maintaining electronic medical recordsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and remain seated or standing for extended periodsComfort working in a clinical environment with exposure to noise, odors, animal waste, potential bites or scratches, and infectious diseases“It’s such a relief knowing there’s a vet team I can fully trust to provide outstanding care.” Google reviewOur team is united by a shared passion for feline medicine, exceptional patient care, and a supportive workplace culture.
