Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a experienced technician who enjoys leadership, patient care, and supporting a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support veterinary treatment team during shifts
- Oversee patient care, treatments, and anesthesia monitoring
- Assist veterinarians with exams and procedures
- Ensure proper medical record documentation
- Maintain hospital workflow and team communication
- Training and mentoring within the staff
- Monitoring Controlled Substance medications and logs
- Working closely with Hospital Manager
Requirements:
- Active Nevada LVT license
- 3+ years veterinary technician experience (lead experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Flexible working hours – must be able to work some Sat.
