Lead Animal Care Attendant Jobs in United States at Berrien County
Our facility does daycare, lodging and training in Land O Lakes, Florida.
Previous kennel/daycare experience that can be verified is preferred and a plus. Longevity in work history is taken into consideration as we are looking for long term employees. MUST WORK HOLIDAYS! Please do not apply if you have a limited schedule, we need open availability during our hours of operation, which is 530 am to 730 pm. If you have restrictions to your schedule between the hours of 530 am and 730 pm, please do not apply as you will not be considered for the position.
We prefer candidates who have previous experience as a Kennel tech/daycare attendant, i.e. letting dogs in and out of play yards, putting dogs away for break time, changing the water in the swimming pools, cleaning dishes, scooping poop and disposing of it properly, general cleaning of the facility, and monitoring play time. We require that someone remain with the dogs the duration of the time they are playing and require someone who has knowledge of dog behavior in terms of when dogs are overly excited or aggressive. You must be confident in being able to discourage inappropriate behavior in dogs such as digging, rough play, barking, etc. We also need you to take photos during playtime.
This is outside, so you must be able to be outside doing physical labor and monitor the dogs. This position will also include some desk work such as checking dogs in, entering dogs in the computer system and checking dogs out.

Professional – in terms of interacting with customers and dress
experience at dog daycare/kennel
Be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Valid driver’s license
High School diploma or equivalent
No more than 2 jobs in the past 12 month period
