Responsibilities
As a Lawn Care Technician, you’ll serve as a customer‑facing representative and trusted advisor for Lawn Doctor clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Apply lawn care treatments including fertilization, weed control, and soil health applications
- Perform lawn aeration, over seeding, power seeding, and turf improvement services
- Provide mosquito, tick, and outdoor pest control treatments
- Operate lawn care equipment and service vehicles safely and efficiently
- Educate customers on lawn health, maintenance recommendations, and additional service options
- Maintain accurate service records and route documentation
- Assist with shop organization, equipment maintenance, and daily preparation
- Meet productivity goals while delivering exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to safely operate machinery and lawn care equipment
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
- Must have current valid 3.0 Turf and Landscape license
Preferred Experience
- Lawn care or landscaping services
- Turf management or grounds maintenance
- Fertilizer application or weed control
- Pest control or mosquito control services
- Outdoor labor, route service, or field technician roles
- Customer service or residential service industries
