CEPRA Crew Leaders are responsible for leading a production crew to complete high-quality landscape maintenance safely. A successful Crew Leader understands the principles of working efficiently through planning and execution, ensuring team members perform at a high level. At CEPRA, the role of Crew Leader is more than just a job; it’s a starting point for leadership and career growth.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safety:
Lead by example – Wear proper PPE, adhere to safety protocols, and promote safe working conditions with your team in the field.
Focus on safety – Work in sync with your team and monitor crew members to ensure they work safely at all times.
Communicate – Identify and report site-specific hazards or safety concerns to your manager.
Production and Quality:
Maintain high-quality landscapes that exceed customer expectations. Perform work you can be proud of.
Ensure the crew follows the production plan for efficiency and consistency, including proper task sequencing and movement paths.
Proactively communicate any challenges, changes, or delays to your manager.
Training & Development:
Participate in mandatory and optional training to build skills and knowledge. Continuous improvement offers career advancement opportunities.
Train and mentor Lead Men and Gardeners to enhance their skills and performance. Provide coaching and feedback for their growth within the company.
Support new hires by ensuring they are properly trained in safety and equipment use.
Qualifications:
Experience in commercial landscape maintenance or a related field.
Commitment to safety and quality.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Willingness to work with and lead diverse groups.
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
A valid and clean Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
