Location:
Epsom, Surrey
Hourly wage: £12.20 per hour (40 hours per week)
Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm
Seasonal, ongoing contract
The aim of this role is to assistant the local council’s maintenance team with verges on public roads, parks and open, outdoor spaces.
Previous, similar experience is important and a full, manual driving licence is preferred but not always essential.
The opportunity to secure permanent employment exists and depends on an individual’s abilities. It is not a guarantee.
* Grass and hedge cutting using petrol mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters
* Litter picking and sweeping
* Leaf clearance with brooms/shovels and petrol blowers
* A good team player
* Basic flowerbed maintenance including weeding
* Ensure you work in the safest possible way at all times
* Reliable and a good timekeeper
* Driving of ride-on mowers and a 3.5tn vehicle (if you have a full, manual licence)
