Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laboratory Sales Representative based in Port Louis. The Laboratory Sales Representative will be responsible for generating sales of laboratory equipment and consumables, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and identifying potential new clients. Day-to-day tasks include meeting sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, providing technical support, and staying updated on industry trends and product knowledge. The role also involves coordinating with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
Qualifications
Experience in sales, particularly in laboratory equipment and consumables
Strong client relationship management skills
Technical knowledge of laboratory equipment and consumables
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet sales targets and work independently
Proficiency in conducting product demonstrations and providing technical support
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Biomedical Sciences is beneficial
Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Familiarity with existing client base is an advantage
