Kennel Technician – Seasonal Jobs in Eden, NC at Silver Paw Pet Resort

Looking for Seasonal Staffing
Must be honest, flexible, dependable, drug free and willing to undergo a background check and drug screen.
· Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimum mistakes.
· Must be able to work under pressure and pay attention to detail.
· Must have experience in animal care/handling in a boarding kennel environment, OR be willing to learn.
· Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, and exercising pets.
· Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kennel facilities and other animal areas.
· Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to Shift leader.
· Must be able to lift and carry 45lbs – Must be physically able to squat/stoop for short periods & stand/walk on concrete for up to 10 hrs.
· Must be comfortable handling all dog breeds and temperaments.
· Must be available every other weekend, some holidays and be flexible when needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $9.00 – $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
