The Kennel Technician position offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to work hands-on with K-9s of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments in a professional dog training and boarding environment.
This is an active, hands-on position involving the daily care of our K-9 guests. Responsibilities include feeding, exercising, and handling K-9s; cleaning and sanitizing kennel areas; maintaining a safe, organized environment; and ensuring each K-9 receives attentive, quality care.
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated self-starter who takes pride in their work and can be trusted to complete responsibilities thoroughly and independently.
Weekend availability is required, along with limited holiday hours as scheduled. Reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are essential to this position.

Applicant Requirements & Duties
- Schedule is Wednesday. Must be 20 years of age or older
- Feed, medicate, exercise, handle, and supervise K-9s throughout the shift
- Clean and sanitize kennels, housing areas, bowls, equipment, and common areas
- Safely and humanely handle K-9s of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments
- Closely supervise K-9s during playtime, exercise, and other activities
- Accurately follow feeding, medication, care, and safety instructions
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.
- Must be comfortable performing a physically active job, including extended periods of walking and standing, as well as bending, crouching, lifting, cleaning, and handling K-9s
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and limited holiday hours as scheduled
- Should live within a thirty (30) minute drive of Fishers, Indiana (MUST have a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle to be considered)
Afternoon/Evening Kennel Technician Schedule
Wednesday – Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Monday & Tuesday: OFF
Approximately 36 hours per week
This position requires consistent weekend availability and limited holiday hours as scheduled. Applicants should be able to reliably commit to the established weekly schedule.
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 36.0 per week
