**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and providing top-notch care in a kennel environment.
**Responsibilities:**
– Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
– Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
– Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the appropriate staff
– Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as needed
– Interact with pet owners in a professional and courteous manner
– Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
**Experience:**
– Previous experience in pet care, such as pet sitting or animal handling, is preferred
– Knowledge of basic animal care techniques and behaviors
– Customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners
– Certification as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is a plus
– Familiarity with pet grooming or dog training is beneficial
