Kennel Technician Jobs in Winston-Salem, NC at Winston Boarding Kennel
We are hiring full time and part time kennel technicians. Your duties will include but are not limited to, cleaning cages, feeding and watering the boarding pets, washing dishes, walking and exercising dogs several times a day, cleaning indoor/outdoor runs, scooping the yard , playing with dogs in the yard, weekly scrub downs of the kennel and doing laundry.
This position requires split shift work whether you are full time or part time. Off season hours are usually 8 am until 10:30 or until finished. then afternoon hours from 2 pm until 4:00 or when finished.
During the peak seasons, which include Christmas, Thanksgiving and July 4th and Summer, your hours would be 7:30 am until 11:30 or when finished then 1:30 pm until 5:30 pm or until finished.
We are open 365 days a year. Holidays and weekend work are required. You must have reliable transportation and be able to work in extreme temperatures during the summer and winter. You must be able to get to work during bad weather.
Please keep in mind while working with animals is fun and exciting, it is a dirty and physically demanding job!
