## Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch care in a kennel environment.
## Duties
– Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel
– Assist with feeding, grooming, and exercising animals
– Clean and maintain kennel facilities to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
– Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the supervisor
– Assist with animal restraint and handling when necessary
## Qualifications
– Experience working in a kennel or similar animal care setting is preferred
– Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures
– Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed
– Strong customer service skills for interacting with pet owners
– Certification or coursework in veterinary assistance, pet grooming, or related field is a plus
– Familiarity with dog training techniques is advantageous
