Kennel Technician
Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners
– Assist with the daily care and maintenance of dogs in the kennel
– Supervise play groups and keep dogs safe
– Administer medications as directed
– Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
– Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing,and nail trims.
– Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
Skills:
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners
– Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and gently
– Knowledge of basic animal care
– Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as bags of pet food or large dogs
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Please note that this position requires evening and weekend availability.

What are your hours of availability? I am looking to fill positions for evenings 4pm-9pm and daytime and evening shifts on weekends.
Because we are a dog boarding facility we are busy in the summer and over holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve. We are always boarding dogs and even on holidays they need taken care of. Are you willing to work holidays?
