Make sure dogs needing special care get their medication on schedule (when applicable and with proper training)
Follow your training protocols and act as a calm, intelligent pack leader when overseeing group play. As the leader it’s your job to make sure the kids play nice.

Operational Tasks:
Record Keeping:
Document nearly everything you do and see. Include feeding, watering, poop, pee, cleaning, medications, health updates, and behavior observations; make sure to record it all.
You will become a poop expert and learn when you need to record what you see.
Record anything out of the ordinary that happens, any incidents, any behavior changes.
Customer Interaction:
You have to like the people too! Get to know the dogs and their owners. Make friends with them. Greet them and talk to them when they drop off and pick up their pets.
Let the clients know what a great stay their dog had and anything noteworthy that they need to know.
Send the owners lots of updates on their dogs, including pictures and fun things you did with them that day.
Safety & Security:
Above all, make sure everyone is safe. Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures.
Stay alert for any safety hazards. Ensure that gates are secured, doors are shut, and everyone is properly and safely attended to and secured.
Finish your training, learn about dogs, and don’t get bit. Not all dogs are nice; some may be jerks.
Team Collaboration:
Get to know your teammates and work together like a finely oiled machine to make sure all the tasks are completed quickly and efficiently.
Keep open communication with the entire team. It takes a village to take care of all these furry critters.
