**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our furry friends. This role is an excellent opportunity for animal lovers who are committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring the well-being of our pets. **Responsibilities:** – Assist with daily kennel cleaning and maintenance to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our animals. – Provide general animal care, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as directed by our veterinarians. – Support our veterinarians and veterinary assistants during examinations, vaccinations, and surgeries. – Maintain accurate records of animal care and medical treatments. – Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely. – Assist with dog training and behavioral modification programs. – Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner. – Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required. – Collaborate with our veterinary team to ensure the highest level of care for our animals. **Skills:** – Experience with dog training and pet care is essential for this role. – The ability to lift heavy objects is necessary, as well as a willingness to perform physically demanding tasks. – A strong background in animal care and veterinary assistance is necessary. – Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely and humanely is required. – Excellent customer service skills are essential for this role. – Familiarity with kennel operations is beneficial. – Certification as a veterinary assistant or technician is a plus, but not required.
