Summary
As a Kennel Technician at Tuscarora’s Country Club for Dogs, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to providing top-notch care for our furry guests. Located in a picturesque setting, this role involves ensuring the well-being of pets while contributing to their overall experience during their stay.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, bathing, and exercise.
Basic cleaning and maintenance in the kennel area and suites.
Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to management.
Engage with pets through playtime and other activities to promote their well-being.
Support customer service efforts by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs.
Ensure proper animal restraint techniques are used during handling and bathing.
Qualifications
Experience in kennel work or similar pet care roles is preferred.
Strong animal handling skills with a focus on dog behavior and safety.
Customer customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling large dogs or equipment.
Must be 18+ in age.
Must be available to work holidays and weekend shifts.

Pay: $12.75 – $13.00 per hour
