We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and providing exceptional care to pets in a kennel environment.
-Duties
– Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel
– Feed, water, and exercise animals according to schedules
– Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
– Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff
– Interact with potential adopters
– Experience
– Previous experience in a veterinary setting or pet care environment is preferred
– Knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
– Familiarity with basic animal care tasks such as feeding
