Canine Karma Training is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kennel Technician to join our team in Stafford, VA. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with dogs in a structured environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized facility. This is also an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to get some preliminary experience in a dog training facility.
This is a PART TIME position with afternoon/evening hours. You must be able to work until 9:30 pm AND work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Let dogs out for potty breaks
- Supervise individual playtime in the yard
- Feed and water dogs
- Clean crates and common spaces
- Assist trainers with handling dogs when needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have reliable transportation AND. Valid drivers license
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are required
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Previous animal care, kennel, daycare, veterinary, or dog training experience is preferred but not required.
