Full Job Description
Duties:
Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercise
Clean and maintain kennels, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns.
Assist with animal handling.
Provide basic training and socialization for dogs
Assist with pet sitting services as needed
Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatments
Qualifications:
Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
Familiarity with veterinary procedures and terminology is a plus
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
