Full Job Description
If you enjoy working with Animals, this may be the perfect job for you. We have a beautiful 5 acre ranch for dogs in the Cleveland National Forest, located 15 minutes up Ortega Highway. We are looking for someone energetic to help exercise and play with dogs, do cleaning and maintenance work. Must be physically fit enough to lift 50 lbs, be comfortable with working with dogs of all sizes and breeds as well as livestock (goats and a pig).
Job duties include but are not limited to:
*Bathing dogs
*Taking dogs out to exercise and watching them while they play
*Cleaning up after the dogs
*Cleaning kennel areas
*Feeding and medicating dogs
*Daily health checks
*Light yard maintenance (cleaning pool, pulling weeds, disinfecting play areas, etc)
Requirements:
> *Must be comfortable with the drive on Ortega Highway 74. This is a ***mountain road** and our property is located off of a dirt road.
**** *Must have a drivers license and own a reliable vehicle ****
*Be punctual
*Have good customer service skills
*Self-motivated and work well with others as well as working independently
*Must be available to work Friday/Saturday and holidays. Schedule is set monthly and we are flexible with needing days off if we have advanced notice.’
Employees start at $16.50 with performance based raises and bonuses.
Shifts are: 7:30-4:30pm or 8:30-5:30pm with an hour lunch break.
Looking to start someone ASAP before the busy summer season starts.

Pay: $16.50 – $25.00 per hour
