Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising
– Clean and maintain kennel areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for the animals
– Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
– Administer medications or treatments as directed by trainer or supervisor
– Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
Skills:
– Experience in animal handling and restraint techniques
– Knowledge of basic dog training principles and techniques
– Ability to lift heavy objects, such as bags of food or large dogs, up to 50 pounds
– Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
– Familiarity with pet sitting and care routines
– Understanding of basic veterinary procedures and terminology is a plus
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Schedule:
– 7-9 AM Monday through Friday
– Weekend shifts available as well
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
