We're looking for a compassionate, reliable Kennel Technician to provide exceptional daily care for our dogs and help maintain a safe, clean, and enriching kennel environment.
What You'll Do
- Feed, groom, exercise, and care for dogs daily
- Administer medications and support basic health monitoring
- Maintain accurate medical and kennel records
- Coordinate veterinary appointments and transportation
- Clean and sanitize kennel, laundry, and common areas
- Support puppy development and enrichment activities
- Assist with tours, visitors, and volunteer engagement
- Help ensure dogs receive the highest standard of care
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Passion for animal welfare and DBL's mission
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work in an active environment
- Comfortable handling medications, medical procedures, and animal care tasks
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and DMV checks
