Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team at Branson Pet Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily care of our canine and feline guests, ensuring their health, safety, and happiness during their stay. This position is crucial in upholding our reputation for excellent pet care.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals in our care, reporting any concerns to management.
Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment.
Assist with administering medications as directed by pet owners or veterinarians.
Engage with pets through playtime and enrichment activities to promote well-being.
Perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning or moving animals.
Requirements
Experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred.
Knowledge of basic animal behavior and health indicators.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
