Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising pets.
Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to staff.
Perform basic grooming tasks to keep pets looking their best.
Handle heavy lifting when moving animals or cleaning supplies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all animals receive proper care and attention.
Qualifications
Previous experience in pet care, animal handling, or vet settings is preferred.
Knowledge of animal behavior and basic vet practices is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Compassionate attitude towards animals and commitment to their welfare.
Certification as a Veterinary Technician or experience as a Veterinary Assistant is an advantage but not required.
