Our growing practice is seeking a kennel technician to help assist with our hospital patients and boarding clients. At NLVC, we are passionate about serving our community. Position Requirements
Have a passion for animals
Animal handling is preferred but willing to train a passionate candidate
Must be at least 18 years of age
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Must be able to multitask
Ability to lift 25+ pounds on a regular basis
Be able to work independently and as a team
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, and exercising.
Handle and restrain animals safely
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennel facilities.
Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for pets and their owners.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 – $13.00 per hour
