Green Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a dependable, efficient and compassionate full time kennel attendant for our busy hospital, boarding, and grooming facility. The position requires an organized independent worker with impeccable attention to detail and care about patients in our care. A combination of morning, evening and weekend work required. Set schedules are not guaranteed. Shared holiday shifts as well. Benefits available (Medical, Dental, Vision, Simple IRA, PTO) for full time employees. Salary negotiable based on experience.
Responsibilities include:
Clean and sanitize kennels and facility
Facility cleaning and basic janitorial duties
Monitor patients and boarders, feeding, and walking
Care and cleanup of patients and boarders
Day camp activities and communication with pet owners
Bathing and nail trims
Light computer experience
Exceptional customer service
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Animal experience required.
