Friday 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of all animals in our care.
Duties
– Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
– Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas. Including outdoor play yards.
– Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns.
– Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as needed
– Safely and accurately move dogs to their outdoor play yards
– Maintain accurate records of animal care and activities
Qualifications
– Strong animal handling skills with the ability to work with various breeds of dogs
– Ability to work in a group setting as well as independently
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to animal care including walking and standing on concrete, bending, and squatting.
– Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques is a plus
– Experience in pet sitting or pet care is beneficial. – This position includes indoor and outdoor duties year around. – Drug free. – Must be 18+
