Prestige K9 is seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Kennel Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the health and well-being of the dogs in our care and ensuring our facility remains clean, safe, and organized.
Responsibilities:
Pottying and monitoring dogs to ensure their comfort and cleanliness.
Preparing and feeding meals according to individual dietary needs.
Sanitizing kennels, including thorough cleaning of sleeping and play areas.
Washing food and water bowls daily.
Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized facility.
Reporting any health or behavior concerns promptly to the management team.
Handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments with care and confidence.
Requirements:
Experience working with dogs in a professional capacity (e.g., boarding facility, veterinary clinic, grooming, etc.).
Strong work ethic, dependability, and a passion for animal care.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
Reliable transportation (must have a vehicle).
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call shifts if needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
