*Job Summary*
The Kennel Technician position involves providing care for animals in a kennel environment. The role requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of animals under their supervision.
*Duties*
– Feed and water animals according to schedules and feeding instructions
– Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and animal holding areas
– Monitor the behavior and condition of animals
– Exercise animals regularly as per guidelines
– Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
– Assist with bathing animals
– Provide basic obedience training to dogs
– Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service
*Experience*
– Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred
– Knowledge of veterinary procedures or willingness to learn
– Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
– Strong customer service skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
