Position: Kennel Technician
Job Description:
The Kennel Technician is responsible for the care and treatment of animals in a clinic setting. They will be expected to perform daily duties to keep the kennel clean, orderly, and sanitary. The Kennel Technician will also be expected to assist in the cleaning of all equipment used in the care and treatment of animals.
Working hours require Friday and Saturdays and can include afternoons daily Monday through Thursday to clean and sanitize the clinic for closing, feeding, walking, and medicating patients and assisting/cleaning every Saturday 8 am-Close.
Kennel Technician Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Must be able to work Saturdays.
Physical Demands include but are not limited to: walking, standing, bending, twisting, reaching overhead, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing stairs and ladders as needed, lifting up to 50 pounds as needed and ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
The Kennel Technician must be able to follow directions well enough not to mistake mistakes for instructions.
Must be punctual and have excellent dependability.

Pay: $8.00 – $10.00 per hour
