**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional care to our animal patients and support our veterinary team in various medical procedures.
**Duties:**
– Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
– Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood counts
– Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
– Prepare animals for surgery including monitoring anesthesia
– Educate clients on pet health and wellness
– Maintain accurate medical records
– Provide compassionate care and support to both animals and their owners
– Proficiency in aseptic techniques and animal restraint
– Knowledge of veterinary terminology and dental terminology
– Experience in pet grooming, laboratory procedures, and animal care
– Familiarity with veterinary critical care and dog training is a plus
