**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an self motivated, team player with a lot of energy to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle dogs. They must also have the ability to work well on a team, maintain a clean environment inside and outside and walk many miles per day.
**Responsibilities:**
Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
Clean and sanitize kennels and yards
Monitor the health and well-being of animals
Assist with grooming and bathing of dogs
Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service.
**Qualifications:**
Understanding of animal behavior and animals’ care needs
Ability to move animals and large bags of food or other supplies
Customer service and communication skills
Passion for animal welfare
Ability to understand and follow directions from Veterinarians or kennel staff
Techniques to soothe animals and keep them calm in tense situations
Basic math and measurement skills to manage food, water, and medications
Record-keeping skills to document care, behavior, and incidents with the animals
Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques is a plus

Pay: $14.00 – $15.50 per hour
